Methodology

How the index works

Equal weight

Each product contributes equally to the index return, regardless of its absolute price. A $50 ETB matters as much as a $2,000 booster box.

Daily calculation

Index value = average of (current price / base price) across all constituents, multiplied by 100. Updated daily after price ingestion.

S&P 500 benchmark

Both lines are rebased to 100 on the same start date for direct comparison. S&P data from the Federal Reserve (FRED).
